Ryan Anthony Pisapia was a vibrant child of three years old. He was rambunctious with a mischievous smile. He could win your heart with a grin. Ryan came into this world on April 25, 2006. He was adopted by Christine and John “Skip” Pisapia and he was their son. He meshed well in the Pisapia family and before he was one, he became a big brother. He played the part well.
Ryan’s life was cut short on July 19, 2009 by a tragic accident. If there is a shining star in the sky, it's Ryan watching over us. If you are lucky to see a shooting star, it is Ryan at play in the skies above.
About the Fund
The Ryan Fund was created to honor the memory of this beloved child. The major fund raising event is Family Fun Day. As Ryan’s short life revolved around fun and his family, it is only fitting that an event dedicated in his memory is a Family Fun Day.
The Ryan Anthony Pisapia Fund is dedicated to assisting the youth in the community. It sponsors four (4) yearly scholarships at St Joseph-St Thomas School. This year, as a result of Hurricane Sandy, the fund sponsored a family for Christmas. Additionally, the fund helps to support various youth programs including cheer, football, singing, and dance and baking workshops.
Your generous support also helps defer the cost of the Family Fun Day which is held yearly and provides over 500 children and adults with a fun filled day in celebrating the life of Ryan.
